Croeso and welcome to Leading in Nature. I’m Mia. Whether you lead others outdoors, or want to bring nature connection to your team, clients or visitors, you’ll find a warm welcome with me in North Wales and the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia).

With over 30 years of experience leading groups and crafting research-led learning, from outdoor centres to university lecture halls, I offer practical training in nature connection and mental health skills for outdoor leaders. I used to teach research methods, so I’m fussy about evidence: you get skills you can trust, minus the jargon.

Alongside professional CPD training for outdoor instructors, I create lush, immersive nature connection experiences, Welsh legend and folklore walks, and playful creative sessions across Eryri. These can be commissioned by teams, charities, heritage sites and private groups, and can adapted to be as gentle and accessible as your group needs. I also offer occasional public events. Curious?
